Stop spending your Sunday collecting invoices for your accountant. Set a date range, export, and all your invoice PDFs land in one folder, renamed automatically.
Tax season hits. Your accountant asks for "all invoices in one folder." And suddenly you're deep in Apple Mail, manually downloading invoice PDFs one by one, renaming files from invoice_84729847.pdf to something your accountant can actually read.
Scrolling through hundreds of emails, opening attachments, clicking "Save As" over and over. Manually downloading invoice PDFs from Apple Mail is the worst part of bookkeeping.
Renaming invoice files one by one because every vendor names their PDF something different. Your Downloads folder becomes a graveyard of receipt_final_v2.pdf files.
You always miss one. That one SaaS receipt buried in a thread, or a supplier invoice from three months ago. Collecting receipts for your accountant shouldn't feel like a treasure hunt.
Sounds familiar?

The complete Mac app for collecting PDF invoices from Apple Mail.
InvoiceGrab scans your Apple Mail inbox for PDF invoice attachments within your chosen date range, then exports and renames them into a clean folder on your Mac. All in one click. No manual searching required.
With InvoiceGrab, you select a date range and click Export. The app automatically finds all PDF attachments in your Apple Mail and saves them to a folder on your desktop, renamed by sender domain for easy identification.
InvoiceGrab only works with PDF files that are directly attached to an email. Some vendors, especially larger SaaS companies, do not attach a PDF at all. Instead, they send an email with a link like "View your invoice" that takes you to their customer portal, where you have to log in and download the PDF manually.
InvoiceGrab cannot access external websites or log into vendor portals. If an invoice is behind a login, you will need to download it manually from that vendor's dashboard. InvoiceGrab will grab everything that arrives as an actual email attachment.
InvoiceGrab works with any email account configured in Apple Mail, including Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, and any IMAP account. As long as your emails appear in Apple Mail, InvoiceGrab can export the invoices.
Yes. InvoiceGrab lets you select any custom date range: by month, quarter or year. Perfect for quarterly VAT filings or annual tax returns.
InvoiceGrab is 100% local. It runs entirely on your Mac and never connects to any server. Your email data never leaves your computer. No account, no login, no cloud.
InvoiceGrab requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later. It is fully compatible with all newer versions, including macOS 26 Tahoe. If you are on macOS 14 Sonoma or older, the app will not run.
Yes. InvoiceGrab is a universal binary that runs natively on both Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and Intel Macs.
Yes. Your $10 purchase covers unlimited Macs. There are no seat limits. Use it on every Mac you own.
Yes. InvoiceGrab searches through all emails in your Apple Mail that fall within your selected date range, whether they arrived yesterday or years ago. As long as the emails are in Apple Mail, InvoiceGrab will find the invoices.
It depends on the date range you select. For a single week with a handful of invoices, the export finishes in under 20 seconds. For a full year with many attachments, it can take up to a few minutes.
Most exports land somewhere in between. InvoiceGrab processes everything locally on your Mac, so speed also depends on your mail volume, how many accounts you have configured in Apple Mail and if your older emails must be downloaded again.
If you're a freelancer, solopreneur or small business owner who uses Apple Mail on your Mac, you know the pain. Every month, or worse, every tax season, you need to collect all your invoice PDFs. That means opening email after email, saving each PDF attachment and renaming files so your accountant or bookkeeper can actually make sense of them.
Apple Mail doesn't have a built-in way to bulk save email attachments to a folder. There's no "export all PDFs" button. So you're stuck with the manual approach: scroll, click, save, rename, repeat. For freelancers with dozens of SaaS subscriptions or small businesses with hundreds of vendor invoices, this process can take hours every single month.
InvoiceGrab is a native macOS app designed for exactly this problem. It connects directly to Apple Mail on your Mac, scans your inbox for the date range you specify, and automatically exports every PDF invoice attachment it finds. Each file is renamed by the sender's domain. For example, invoice_84729847.pdf from Notion becomes notion.so.pdf, making it instantly recognizable.
The entire process takes seconds, not hours. You select your date range, click one button, and find a perfectly organized folder on your desktop. It's the fastest way to download all PDF invoices from Apple Mail, whether you need invoices from last month, last quarter or the entire year.
Unlike cloud-based bookkeeping tools that require you to forward your emails or connect your inbox to a third-party server, InvoiceGrab runs 100% locally on your Mac. It never sends your email data anywhere. There's no account to create, no server to trust, and no subscription to cancel. Your invoices stay on your computer, exactly where they belong.
InvoiceGrab is a universal binary that runs natively on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and Intel Macs. It requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later, and works with all newer versions including macOS 26 Tahoe. And because it's a true native Mac app, not an Electron wrapper, it's fast, lightweight, and feels right at home on your Mac.
Whether you need to collect invoices for your annual tax return, a quarterly VAT filing or a monthly bookkeeping handoff, InvoiceGrab has you covered. The flexible date range selector lets you export invoices for any period: a single month, a quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) or a fully custom range. No more missing invoices. No more last-minute scrambles when your accountant asks for "everything from January to March."
Download InvoiceGrab and let your Mac do the work.
